Bunyan’s Allegorical Works
Bunyan’s Allegorical Works: Or The Pilgrim’s Progress and the Holy War, Together with His Grace Abounding, Divine Emblems, and Other Poems.
John Bunyan (1628 – 1688) was an English writer and nonconformist preacher. He is best remembered as the author of the Christian allegory The Pilgrim’s Progress, which also became an influential literary model. First published in 1678, with a second part added in 1684, this amazing book has never been out of print.
In addition to The Pilgrim’s Progress, Bunyan wrote nearly sixty titles, many of them expanded sermons.
Edited with Notes, Original and Selected, and a Life of Bunyan by the Rev. Charles H. H. Wright, M.A.
