Superb opportunity to own this Magnificent De-Luxe Full Set Of Charles Dickens Works published by Heron Books in 1970 to celebrate 100 years after the death of Dickens. This set was issued in two formats; this burgundy de-luxe set with full leather binding, and gilt page tops, and the more common green simulated leather standard set.
This set comes complete with a unique full set of the Novel Summaries that came with each novel.

I have a different set of Dickens Heron books–in real leather! Mine has darker spines, and then an embossed gold oval picture of Dickens on the cover. There is red satin for the endpapers. I’ve never seen them anywhere else. I can send a picture if you’re interested. The interiors are the same as the green Centennial edition, which I also own.
